Introduction

Qingyu Li, male, born in 1962; Ph.D. in engineering from Central South University supervised by Yexiang Liu (CAE academician); second grade professor of Guangxi Normal University, doctoral tutor; director of Guangxi Key Laboratory of Low Carbon Energy Materials; director of Guangxi New Energy Marine Battery Engineering Technology Research Center. The Board Committee Member of the International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science; Member of the Electrochemical Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society; Member of the Solid State Ionology Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society; Member of the Energy Storage Engineering Committee of the The Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China; Member of the Expert Committee of China Industrial Association of Power Sources. Leader of high-level innovation team in Guangxi colleges and universities, Excellence scholar.


Engaged in research and development in the fields of new energy materials, new energy technologies, applied electrochemistry and non-ferrous metallurgy; Undertaken more than 30 research projects: projects of the National High-tech R&D Program of China(863 Program), sub-projects of the National Basic Research Program (973 Program), projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects supported by joint fund of National Natural Science Foundation of China and Guangdong Province, Guangxi Innovation-driven development special project (Major science and technology projects), project of Guangxi Scientific Research and Technology Development Plan, project of Guangxi Science Foundation and industry projects; Developed ‘Production Technology of LiFePO4 Cathode Material for Power Lithium Ion Battery’, ‘Production technology of coating on lithium manganate cathode material’, ‘Production technology of coating on lithium nickel manganate cathode material’, ‘Square aluminum shell lithium ion battery production technology’, ‘Supercapacitor production technology’, ‘Production technology of lithium-ion battery power system for new energy ships’, ‘TiB2 cathode coating technology for aluminum electrolysis at room temperature’ and ‘anti-oxidation coating technology for aluminum-electrolysis carbon anode’; Published more than 180 academic papers on well-known domestic and foreign journals such as Journal of Materials Chemistry, Electrochimica Acta, Journal of Power Sources, Solid State Ionics, and Nonferrous Met. Soc. China; Obtained more than 60 national invention patents; Won the second prize of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award and the second prize of Guangxi Technology Invention Award.


In recent years, mainly engaged in the research and development of new energy vessels based on lithium-ion batteries, involving the production technology of lithium-ion batteries and systems for ships, as well as the manufacturing and production technologies of new energy hybrids and pure electric ships. The new energy Li River Basin tourist ship (including pure electric and hybrid ships) and the tourist bamboo pole based on lithium-ion batteries have been developed, which has achieved breakthroughs in cruising range and entered the forefront of the industry. The development of large-scale new energy hybrid cruise ships is currently underway.
